My favourite places on the web… for all kinds of reasons…

…for clay supplies in the UK I can highly recommend Clayaround.com.  Penny provides a massive and ever expanding range of clay, tools and accessories and all this with superior service, lightning quick shipping and Paypal as one of the payment methods.

…for a free monthly online magazine dedicated to dolls house miniatures check out Artisansinminiature.com.  Written by the professional artisans of the AIM Association there is something in each issue for all to enjoy (ok, so I am slightly biased about this… but it really is a wonderful magazine!)

…if you love Etsy and all things that are miniature then pop by the Etsy Team Mids blog.  Where you can find links to Team Mids members shops on Etsy.

…for British made artisan miniatures then BritishMiniatures.co.uk is an excellent starting point.  With artisans listed in categories it’s quick and easy to navigate and find what you need.

the Mini Treasures Wiki is aimed at  connecting miniature makers and collectors world-wide – MTW is the biggest wiki in the world concentrating on dioramas, dolls, dollhouses, roomboxes and miniatures.

…my favourite miniature atisans who always manage to blow my mind with the incredible detail, realism or sheer WOW factor of their work…

Le Petit Monde d’Oiseau Peiwen not only creates miniature food but also some of the best mini flowers I have ever seen.

Mags-nificent Miniatures Mags Cassidy, IGMA food artisan, creates fabulous miniature food and accessories with period food being her speciality.

Petite Properties Ltd Bea and Tony Broadwood create authentic smaller scale dwellings, furniture and accessories with 1:24 and 1:48 being their speciality. Visit their online shop to see the wide range of kits and publications available.

Naomi Machida of Noa Miniatures is one of my favourite new miniature artisans, check out her fabulous food in her Etsy shop.
